In elementary science, we were made to know that tools are simple things that put other things into work.
Tools are the simplest implement we could use to activate work.
But over time, there have been some advancement.

This advancement brought about complicated machinery from the simple tools.
The simple tools were no more adequate for doing work, there was need to do more work. This is the sole reason of inventing machinery

So, in life, the tools are synonymous to utterance and the machinery synonymous to writing.

Mere being born and simple growing up will teach us how to speak (utterance) but education will teach us how to write.

The power of life and death lie on the tongue, they say.
Moreover, there are three things utterance can do.

With our utterance, we can create. Just as it is written in bible in Genesis. God, whom we are his image did the creation of the world with the power of the word.
He said “let there be” and there was.

Just as we can create with the word (our utterances) it can also defile us i.e make us impure.
This is written also in bible in mattew 15:11 that

“What goes into someone's mouth does not defile them but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them”

The kind of word we speak may also destroy us. Just as it is written proverbs 21:23 that

“Those who guard their mouths and their tongues keep themselves from calamity.”

Lastly, just as the output of utterance is minimal, the output of writings is exceedingly great

In summary, we should watch what proceed out of our mouth and what we put down with our pen for the power of creation, corruption and destruction lie in them.
